Workshops for Youth and

Young Adults

Awaken the Spirit

Awakening the Spirit is an empowering workshop based on a four-part model specifically designed to encourage young people to discover who they are, where they came from and where they are going.

Goal-Setting

Goal-setting is a powerful technique for helping adolescents to develop a solid foundation for their future. By knowing what they want to achieve in life they gain direction and focus and a clearer image of their areas for improvement. When they set well-defined goals, they can measure and take pride in the achievement of those goals.

Developing Good Work Ethic

Some may argue that, "work ethic just isn't what it used to be." This workshop looks to restore work ethic in young people and provide new tools and strategies for achieving and maintaining employment.

Self-Esteem Building

This workshop teaches young people how to develop a positive self-image, take pride in one’s Indigenous heritage, and build strength in family, community and societal values.

Anger Management

Through anger management, adolescent individuals are taught how to slow down their arousal when angered, so that it can be processed and acted on in a proper, constructive and healthy way without the negative consequences when it is uncontrolled.
